STAV 80th Anniversary

We had the privilege of commemorating the association’s 80th Anniversary at an afternoon tea held at the Government House Victoria on Wednesday, 20th September 2023.

The gathering brought together our esteemed STAV Council, as well as some of our esteemed life members, who came together to reflect upon the enduring legacy of STAV.

We were deeply honoured to have Her Excellency Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC, Governor of Victoria, in attendance, as her presence contributed to the success of the occasion. We look forward to many more years of inspiring the next generation of scientists and teachers!

We offer an instructional model that can be adapted to suit any classroom setting. The 7-hour design sprint is designed to ignite students’ motivation through practical and hands-on experiences. Students have the chance to integrate their personal passions and interests into the projects they undertake. Additionally, students present their work before a panel, fostering a culture of recognition. To further incentivise learning outcomes, tangible rewards are encouraged.
