Entry Information & Dates

STS is primarily a school-based science competition, with entry occurring through a central school STS coordinator.

Each school must be willing to support the competition by providing judges.

Entry Fees

Individual Entry (ONE student) = $9.00 per project entry

Group Entry (TWO students) = $17 per project entry

Class Experimental Research Project (primary school divisions only) = $30 per class project entry

All entries registered in the School Portal by the closing date on 28 May 2023 will be invoiced and must be paid, even if the entry is not subsequently submitted. This is because administration of the entries will have already occurred from this point on.
