The VCE Conference Series 2026 is STAV’s flagship professional learning event for VCE Science educators, returning to The University of Melbourne, Parkville, in February 2026. This series brings together teachers, laboratory technicians, curriculum leaders, and members of the tertiary and research community to explore current developments across VCE Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Environmental Science, and Psychology.

This year’s theme, Teaching with Impact, focuses on empowering educators to create meaningful, high-quality learning experiences that deepen understanding and inspire curiosity in senior secondary science.

The 2026 series will again be delivered in a hybrid format, offering both in-person attendance and virtual-only access. Online participants will be able to view the keynote presentation, VCAA updates, and one pre-selected session per stream for each subject — providing greater flexibility for regional and remote educators.
