STS Sponsorship
The Science Talent Search (STS) is an annual competition organised by the Science Teachers’ Association of Victoria Inc. and this year we will be celebrating 72 years of student engagement in scientific investigations. The competition aims to encourage students in the pursuit of science studies and hopes to give the next generation of youths an opportunity to communicate their achievements and be recognised for excellence in Science.
The 2023 Science Talent Search is now under way with an average annual reach of over 150 participating schools, over 3000 students and 300 volunteer judges.
Each year students submit their projects to one of the following sections (categories) for both primary and secondary age divisions:
- Class Experimental Research Project
- Experimental Research
- Computer Programs
- Creative Writing
- Working Models
- Inventions
- Games
- Science Photography
- Posters & Scientific Wallcharts
- Video Productions
Once again we are seeking bursary donations to enable the competition to continue. Sponsorship of STS is an opportunity to support Science education and development of our young student scientists.
By sponsoring STS you would be:
- Investing in science programs and projects
- Supporting science teachers
- Supporting local young scientists of tomorrow
- Making a difference in Victorian schools through their science talent search projects
- Increasing awareness of scientific endeavours
Without the support of our generous sponsors’ donations, we would not be able to fund our student bursary awards.
If you are interested in sponsoring the competition, please see the STS Sponsorship Brochure here.
